The Virtual Explorer

Virtual Explorer is an online journal devoted to rapid electronic publication, particularly in respect to contributions that take full use of the electronic media, colour, maps, interactivity, animations, movies, VRML etc.

We have chosen to make a deliberate focus on cross-disciplinary contributions, focussed on a variety of fields, with an emphasis on ensuring that we publish material from all continents. The journal uses a sophisticated electronic search engine so that material published can be accessed readily.

Earth Science is a discipline that requires integration between many different fields. Special issues will therefore address many different themes.
